摘要

As people become more mobile, international health and health advocacy become more critical and need more coordination to safe guard people’s health across the globe. This class is an all-English class, designing to increase the practice of using English in health settings and think in Western context. This course is designed at an entry level to understand global health issues and health advocacy across different topics and around the world. The functions and multiple roles of the World Health Organization will be introduced and studied. Students are expected to have a basic idea of international health and to develop an interest for health advocacy to improve people’s general well-being and quality of life.
隨著人們的流動性增加，國際衛生和衛生宣傳變得更加重要，並且也需要更多的配合協作來保護全球各地人民的健康。這是一門全英語授課課程，旨在增加在健康醫療環境中使用英語的實踐，並在西方背景下思考。這門課程的設計是為了讓學生在入門階段瞭解全球不同主題的健康問題以及世界各地的健康倡導。課程會介紹世界衛生組織（WHO)相關議題，學生將會對於國際健康有基本的概念以及培養對健康倡議的興趣與如何改善人民福址以及生活品質。

This is an all-English class intended to foster students’ international perspectives and interactive learning. By taking the class, students are expected to develop global views and skills such as critical thinking.

以全英語方式進行，提升學生的國際觀點與互動式的學習，讓學生建立全球視野以及批判能力。

評分標準

平時測驗：佔總成績 50 %

期末考：佔總成績 50 %

通過標準


課程及格標準:60滿分：100分
